The BEST THINGS that happened when I STOPPED DRINKING

Did you know, I live my life COMPLETELY sober ?

No, I haven’t always been this way, but I can tell you that since I quit drinking, my life has changed completely and all for the better. It was one of the absolute best damn decisions I have ever made!

 

How NOT drinking changed my life:


1. I learned who my real friends were!

After quitting drinking I lost a lot of friends, and some people didn’t support my decision to quit. I learned that I had way too many relationships that were built solely around partying. ⁣

2. My Anxiety DECREASED!

Dehydration and improper nutrition can have a MASSIVE impact on anxiety levels. To be honest, after throwing back shots of tequila l was making horrible Nutrition choices. Don’t even get me started on what I was eating when I was hungover. It was a BAD time.

3. I have MORE time to do what MATTERS.⁣

– No time spent needing to sleep in.⁣
– No time spent nursing hangovers. ⁣
– No time spent out spent doing the same thing I had done a million times over and over again. ⁣

4. My disease risks went DOWN! 🙌⁣

Did you know drinking can contribute to higher risks of: ⁣
– Diabetes⁣
– Cancers⁣
– High Blood Pressure⁣
– Heart Disease⁣
– Strokes ⁣
– Liver Disease⁣
– and even digestive issues⁣

5. I am HAPPIER 😜

– My life has less of a yo-yo pattern⁣
– My emotions are more stable ⁣
– I actually created GOALS, and completed them (imagine that lol)⁣!
– I am spending my time in FULFILLING ways⁣

LIFE IS GOOD⁣

Oh, and mocktails are good too, virgin bloodys make me very very happy! ⁣

There isn’t any shame or embarrassment or lameness that comes with not drinking. But there IS a whole lot of health benefits to stopping or at least cutting back.
